Presented By:

Andrea Wright is the district STEM Coordinator for the third largest school district in Georgia. With over 20 years’ experience in education, Ms. Wright supports the district’s STEM/STEAM Initiative in the areas of curriculum, instruction, pedagogy, partnerships, and certifications.  A native Atlantan, she matriculated from Spelman College, the University of Rhode Island, the University of West Georgia, and Valdosta State University. She has also attained a STEM Leadership endorsement through the NASA Endeavor program, a STEM endorsement from Middle Georgia RESA, and is a National Geographic Certified Educator. Her truest passion is in the area of STEM education – seeing children bring ideas to life and innovate new solutions, fostering a culture of creativity in educators, and planting seeds for limitless possibilities for parents about their children’s futures.  Ms. Wright concurs with Marian Wright Edelman that “education is for improving the lives of others and for leaving your community and world better than you found it."
